Jessica Priest has always had sociopathic tendencies with an unusual preference for torturing and killing. That makes her a favored soldier with her boss, Jason Wynn, at the United States Security Group. Wynn always chooses Jessica — a sexy, dangerous and successful government operative — for the most challenging missions for his secret, self-serving and corrupt agendas. Masquerading as a suburban working mom, Jessica blows up weapons plants, starts skirmishes around the world and single-handedly recovers secret weapons, all while her family thinks she is away at boring sales meetings. Jessica’s latest assignment finds her in the Brazilian rainforest dodging alligators and piranhas as well as her own field agents. She manages to recover the Heat-16 bio-genetic weapon, but loses it to a weapons-grade uranium dealer when she is captured and forced to work as a slave in his mine. With so many insurmountable obstacles to overcome, will Jessica survive her latest mission and return to her family? In a separate story, teenager Ryan Hatchett commits suicide only to be caught between worlds as a zombie. Unprepared for his new circumstances, Ryan is mentored by the Freak, who assigns him the mission of rescuing his human girlfriend from certain death at the hands of the zombie ruler. Having a reputation as a mild-mannered nerd while he was alive is certainly different than his life as a zombie known as Hatchet, Executioner of the Dead.

When her jealous twin sister shows up, Angela learns the source and depth of the peril the two planets are in. Will Angela be able to save both planets with or without the help of Spawn or will she succumb to the icy stare of Deurges, an interplanetary Grim Reaper? When three buddies rob a bank for sport, they learn how quickly friendships can turn sour as one of them becomes ruthless and reckless and causes the deaths of all of them.
