Meanwhile Back at The Lair . . .

Recently I closed The Lair of the Undead Rat, this website’s sister site to make some much needed changes in format and content. Two weeks ago, I reopened the site again and started a new posting schedule: Mondays I look at a movie, Wednesdays are for graphic novels and on Fridays I look at a book. Saturdays are the Ohio Spotlight where we look at an Ohio author, one of his or her books or a book set in Ohio. Additional posts, such as news items, will be sprinkled in when they occur.

Two weeks ago I struggled with the problem of what to do with The Lair of the Undead Rat, my readers’ advisory blog which is sponsored by the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library. Before then, all I was doing was copying articles from my other blogs into The Lair. The Lair had no identity of its own.

So I created one.

I’ve been looking at how my websites are doing and I’ve begun a series of changes that will, I think, improve the line as a whole. Gone are the days of copying the same content in two or three different blogs. Each website will have its own content with its own focus but will enjoy closer ties.
